  1. Guys, I am a newbie here and haven't mastered navigation and searching yet, so my apologies in advance if this question has been answered elsewhere. My wife is applying for a CR-1 visa and the application is in CEAC online processing at the NVC. I submitted the documents last night and am wondering about how long of a wait I can expect before it is reviewed by the NVC. Can anyone provide their experience with CEAC processing and what we should expect for timing from this point forward? Here are the steps that I expect: 1. Application and Document review at the NVC 2. Application sent to GUZ and received by the Consulate 3. Medical Exam and vaccinations scheduled 4. Consulate Interview scheduled 5. Medical exam and vaccinations completed 6. Consulate Interview completed I am assuming that all of this can be completed by the end of June, but that is just a WAG by me. Can someone share their experience so I can know a little better what to realistically expect? Also, have I missed anything? Are there any pointers to help things move a little more quickly? We are, of course, very new to this process and we are feeling pretty isolated and nervous about making a mistake and causing a delay. It has already been 8 months since we received our NOA1 and I am in China until end of June, so we are really counting on the process being complete so I can bring my wife home with me when I return to the US. Any help is greatly appreciated. Frank
  2. Hello, we provided the required documents to the consulate and our case was touched the 21st. Today the status changed to ready with a case creation date change of the 22nd. Are we close to issue?
  3. Hi, I submitted my DS-260 almost 2 months ago and was later informed by the consulate that I was missing past work and education information. When reviewing the form, the only field which could be relevant for this information is titled "PRESENT Work/Education/Training Information" and therefore, the first time around, I only inserted my current employer and occupation. Could this be the designated area for that particular requested information? I have emailed the Consulate several times, to no avail. I would appreciate if anyone could share their experience. Thanks
