  1. We also STILL don't have the Japanese police cert. (They finally said they would do it...we had to travel all the way from Inner Mongolia to GUZ to apply for the damn thing, since Beijing would not even hear of it, even after going about 10 times). We applied on 4/15 and they said 2-3 months. This means the thing could be ready as late as 7/15.

Morning sista! no sleep yet....poor thing... :D tell ya hubby no badda you...you ti'ed.....work hard tak'in care his papa'work.....tell him next time no go Japan and make more headache for you... :D

Hope you get your cert soon.......real soon I know it can be a nail bitter.....just a thought......animosity between countries can slow things down taking it out on the innocent bystanders.......

As an option....if you get your interview date and no certificate....it may be better to reschedule the interview than try to overcome the blue....which might add even more time....it may be a bitter pill to swallow but it may save you even more time and lessen the stress....just a thought....

    Good luck

  2.

I'd like to see all the June interview dates together so I can arrange to meet people who will be in Guangzhou about the same time as me.

My interview date is June 23!

I'll be there on the same day. You can't miss me. I'm very easy to spot in China.

Good luck also Richard & Li and all June interview 'Pinkers'

  3. It's completely up to you all, you can start a thread on whatever you like , no biggie :D

However I agree with Rog the "circling GUZ" thread is open to all, there is a wealth of useful information there, its remained pretty on post and it has been somewhere where folks at the same stages can compare data and experiences.

Can I post here even though I have a May interview ? :D

    Good Luck Rob & Jin

    22nd is real soon. :)

  4. Yes but what the pictures didn't show well was their was a grey, hazy sky most of the time....the sky was never really blue like Hawaii.....and we both really didn't enjoy the vacation for other reasons I won't elaborate on....Guilin was excellen, sky was blue...after one week in Shenzhen, I had a sore throat and constantly running nose....I never had that before....and HK wasn't much better. I guess the air from Guangzhou region drifts towards Shenzhen and HK but the air was never that bad in the pictures so I can only imagine if I was there what I would feel like....even my SO hates the air....and of course everyone smoking (especially in restaurants) doesn't help. If they cleaned up the air.....I would change my mind....

  5. I once thought about living in china but after visiting....I don't think I would last 2 years.....it's unbelievable how bad the air is and how people can live in thoughs conditions.

My first thought when seeing it live was I was in a fog....but then I realized it was pollution. Never seen it that bad before.

the enviromentalist should worry about cleaning China first before the USA

  6. Rob yes you can post

and Circling GUZ is getting pretty long

My thought was so that there would be one place for June interviews to post their dates....no need to make comments...

Then it will be easier for the next group of July interviews to kind of get an idea for when we might be up next.

Going through all the circulating GUZ post is hard to figure who's next.

The spreadsheet here would also work. :o Just MHO
