Hi all, Little confused over this I-134 for our k-1 visa. As i understand it we need two copies. (one for her, one for her son) Do i still list him on her 134 as her child? Also, do i need to list both of them on line 10 that i have submitted visa petitions on their behalf? If anyone knows of a link where i can find instruction or examples that Cheeto eating baboon can figure out, i would be in your debt <smiles> Thanks in advance, Jim

Never had the Shenyang duck. The first day i was there she took me to a very famous Dumpling restaurant there called Liao Bian. She ordered so much food 10 people couldn't eat it all. When i asked her "why the heck did you order so much food"? she replied, " i knew you were very hungry" I thought to myself " dear god how much does this woman think i can eat"? Only after several meals with her family did i realize how much food the Chinese can pack away. It was not uncommon for one of our meals to go in excess of 2 hours. If they had dumpling eating contest i would bring Yunfei to them.. lol Jim

A few of the girls over on 001 have been talking about the facet being turned almost off. My S.O. was asking me if i had read anything about it on candle. The ladies were saying to expected about an additional 3 to 4 month delay. As we sent or P-3 back in December it really felt like a kick in the nibbletes. Anyone hear anything like this? I just sent my Christmas presents to Yafei via Express from DHL. It was a little expencive 80.55 to send 3.1lbs worth of package. But it sure was fast. I sent it on the 8th and it arived for pickup in Shenyang on the 13th. Yafei had made me labels when i was in China and i just taped them right next to the DHL label. They found her no problem. She does NOT need to send in my "affidavit of support" with this paperwork, but instead, she just confirms that she has or will have these forms for her interview. I'm i correct in this? Thank you, yes we are very excited to be this far this quickly. Each step brings great joy but also deep foreboding that something will go wrong. Someone told me it is like a roller coaster ride, how right they were. I just wish the process had some type of structure to it. I look at time lines and they are all over the place. hello All, Looking for a little help in figuring out where i stand in the K-visa loop. As you can see from our time line, we have received notice that we were approved for the 129 and it was sent on to Guangzhou. I was able to finally get through to NVC and get my GUZ case number. when i contact GZ they tell me they have not received my paperwork yet. So my question is Can anyone give me a idea how long it takes GZ to receive our paperwork and get us in the que? Thanks in advance

I dont see any Korean air flights going into Dalian, i do know that they have two dayly flights to Shenyang. And check here for connecting flights. China Northern Airlines Adds New Flight A new China Northern Airlines flight between Shenyang and Dalian in northeast China's Liaoning Province will commence Friday. The new flight, no 6691/2, has been introduced because the Shenyang-Dalian expressway is currently being repaired. It will fly on both August 9 and 10, and will operate every Monday and Thursday after August 11. The airplane departs from Shenyang at 8:05 a.m. and arrives in Dalian at 8:55 a.m. The return flight leaves Dalian at 9:45 a.m., and arrives at Shenyang at 10:35 a.m. It looks like these are additional flights on top of their regular. I wiould guess you would have no problem finding flights. The one downside to my trip with Korean Air was i had to jump through some hoops. DC to Jfk, JFK to Inchon, and Inchon to Shenyang. Weather problem can make it a nightmare. total flight cost 979.00

I must say I really enjoyed my flights with Korean Air. Even though the trip was a nightmare with weather in DC causing me to miss flights. Korean Air we very good at getting me on later flights and took a genuine interest in my plight. Flight over the pond was on a 747-400 with TV monitors in the seats. the food was good the service was excellent. I flew into Inchon airport (A awesome new airport) then on to Shenyang from there. If there is a friendlier cabin staff I have yet to meet them. Also a nice FF program if you will be flying them back to china. Since we will be keeping a home in China and flying back once a year we should be able to get one free ticket a year. Jim

ok, ok I know. It's only been a week since my I-129 was delivered to Vermont. Just wonder if anyone can tell me how long is the typical wait to receive a receipt with case number? I opened the package twice before I sent it, sure I had missed something. After going all over it again, I was satisfied it was right. Then, just before I mailed it, I got this thought in my head "OMG I didn't put the check with it." I wanted to rip it open again and make sure. (Despite the fact I clipped it to the folder with 3 paperclips) I picked a bad week to give up Vodka <grin> Jim

Just a heads up. I noticed that they changed the ADIT photo requirements. Now it is back to the old passport straight on shot. We just had the 3/4 with right ear shots done while I was in Shenyang last month. Good thing my smart baby had extra passport photos made when getting her Chinese passport. Waiting on DHL AGAIN <grin> Jim
