  1. Thank you for hold our hands walking through this. It is getting close to our filing day. Getting more and more nervous.
  2. I see. The same document will send to the NVC then the consular. They will have no trouble if I bind this way?
  3. Thank you so much for details regarding the package. If I may, what is the reason you choose to put the binder at the top of the paper, not the left side of the paper? Is this required by USCIS and documented somewhere? Just curious.
  4. I am ready to print out the I-130 pdf downloaded from USCIS web site. One question: Does it matter if I print the I-130 at both side of paper or just one side of the paper?
  5. Should I send in the copy of the notarial EOR, notarial Affidavits with the I-130 and keep the originals for the interview? Or should I send the original notarial EOR and Affidavits?
  6. Dan, Thank you so much for the answer and the references! I will double check following the VJ Guide.
  7. Thanks Dan! In some post here showing adding the divorce decree from both father and mother in the child's I-130. That is not necessary, right?
  8. Here is the list of content on my daughter's I-130 cover letter: - Form G-1145 - Payment in the amount of $ 420.00 - Form I-130 - Passport style photo (Petitioner) - Copy of US Naturalization Certificate (Petitioner) - Copy of Birth Certificate (Beneficiary, Translated) - Copy of Notarial Marriage Certificate (with Beneficiary’s Mother,Translated) - Photographs of Petitioner and Beneficiary together Would you please kindly review it and let me know if anything is missing? Thank you!
  9. Filing in US, I would not need my wife's Chinese Passport Biographic Information Page in her I-130 package, right? I read the I-130 instruction, nothing mentioned in there. Here is the what on the cover letter regarding the content for my wife's I-130: - Form G-1145 - Evolution Of Relationship - Payment in the amount of $ 420.00 - Form I-130 - G-325A and passport style photo (Petitioner) - G-325A and passport style photo (Beneficiary) - Copy of US Naturalization Certificate (Petitioner) - Copy of Notarial Birth Certificate (Beneficiary, Translated) - Copy of Notarial Marriage Certificate (Translated) - Copy of Petitioners Divorce Decree (Marriage 1) - Copy of Beneficiary Divorce Certificate (Marriage 1 Translated) - Copy of Beneficiary Divorce Agrement (Marriage 1 Translated) - Copy of Birth Certificate of Daughter - Copy of Bank Account TOD Letter - Photographs of Petitioner and Beneficiary together Could you please let me know if it looks OK? Anything missing?
  10. Thanks for the helping hands in this Forum, I am getting all paper work ready for file the I-130 for my wife and two month old baby. One last thing I am working on is the EOR letter. I have several questions: Is it better to include it in the original I-130 or bring it to the interview? From other posts dnoublett recommended, it seems a letter explain the previous divorce is also a good idea. Should I write a separate letter for the divorce or include it as a part of the EOR? A lot of people recommend to have it notarized at embassy. I am in US right now, if I notarized the letter in US now, will it still valid to the VO in China and almost a year later?
  11. Thanks Dan, that brings me some comfort since I am suffering everyday missing my baby and wife. I will work on the EOR and try to get the petition package as perfect as possible. Have a nice evening
  12. Thanks Dan! That is really helpful. I didn't know a lot of the abbreviations in this Forum. Learned a lot in here. You guys have been such great help! Do I attached the same EOR for my wife's I-130 and my daughter's I-130?
  13. I found in the post you referred to for the details of the I-130 preparation. He listed one thing: "Evolution Of Relationship". Do I need to write the details about my marriage with my wife and if so, is there any sample that you would recommend?
  14. As always, thank you DAN. I would think I need two sperate check for $420 each (not one $840) to go with each filing?
  15. It probably a dumb question: I will need just one G-1145 for the set forms of my wife and another G-1145 for the set of forms of my baby, right?
  16. Yes you download all the forms, in fact if you download them, and use Adobe reader, you will be able to fill them out on your computer and then print them out compleated. Forms you will need: I-130 G-325A (One for you, one for your spouse to fill out, she could fill it out sign it scan it and email it to you, and you print it for the petition)no G-325A needed for child petition. G-1145 I am taking your advise and filing the application myself. I will submit two sets of I-130, one for my wife and one for my baby: For my wife, I-130 (with copy of all the required document), One photo of mine and one photo of my wife two G-325A , one for me, one for my wife G-1145 attached to this set. For my baby: I-130 (with only her notorized birth certificate), No photo No G-325A G-1145 attached to this set. Could you please tell me if it is right? Anything missing? Only one photo for me and one for my wife, right? Thank you!
  17. One more question: To file I-130 for my two month old baby, do I need a photo for her? One lawyer said no need. The other said I need the photo. Any one here knows? Thanks in advance!
  18. The current state department web site: http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_5162.html Does not include China Guangzhou as the consulate for the electronic process. I wonder if the polit program is ended for China?
  19. Got it. According to the USCIS site for "Consular processing": After I filed the I-130, when will I need to submit the "I-864, Affidavit of Support"?. Once it is approved and send to the NVC, will NVC give me the instruction what the following steps (looks like still need to file more forms) including the one you mentioned the e-process for China?
  20. I don't need to file the 485 form together with the I-130?
  21. Thank you Dan! I will download these forms and go through them tonight.
  22. There is no e-filing of the I-130, however after USCIS approves it and sends to NVC, there is an e-Process for China that will save a few months off this that allows NVC to send case to Guangzhou electronically avoiding a long customs delay. Study: http://candleforlove.com/forums/topic/37703-i29fk3-changes-and-nvc-electronic-processing-for-i-130cr1/ Dan, If I file the I-130 myself, can I simply download the form from USCIS website filled it out or I have to call them asking them to send me the forms?
