  1. Actually these are some of my questions: - Does it matter who bought my flight tickets? (My father paid for the ticket for my first trip; and I paid my own ticket for my second trip...Any problem?) - Is there a problem if we don't send each other mail or email? (Reasons are that mails I sent to her got lost and they have to be registered mail in order to get to her, in which it is too expensive...Reasons we don't send each other email because she doesn't have internet access. ) - Is it not good if we didn't have a wedding ceremony? Any opinion would be good...I am trying to prepare this perfect. Thanks, Ricky
  2. Hi all, Could anyone give any input to our blue slip in terms of how to provide the documents Guz requested: * Provide as much evidence of correspondence that you can that demonstrates the development of your relationship, from initial stages until the current date. Examples include letters, remittance slips, e-mails, and chat sessions. --We don't use email nor letters because we mostly communicate by phone. I am not sure what to give them. * A detailed statement, written by the petitioner, describing the evolution of your relationship. Be sure to, at the very least, explain how you met, when you started dating, and how, when and why you became engaged. --I think this is the letter of evolution * A statement, written by the petitioner, listing every trip s/he has taken to China to visit you and explain how you spent your time together. Include dates and locations. Explain who arranged his/her trip China, purchased his/her tickets and who accompanied him/her. * Submit the plane tickets your petitioner used to visit you. As applicable, submit travel agency documents. Who paid for the plane tickets? Show evidence of this, such as a credit card statement or bank statements with the relevant withdrawals highlighted. * Photots of your wedding ceremony or celebration. If you did not celebrate, or you celebrated but didn't take photos, submit a credible explanation. --We didn't celebrate. The reason was her relatives are mostly out to work in other towns. (Is this a a credible explanation?) Please help. Thank you, Ricky
  3. Hey Kyle, Is a copy of the beneficiary's passport bio page required at the interview? Is it ok if they don't have a copy of it? Thanks, Ricky
  4. Hi Randy, We are doing CR-1. Is AOS application filed to remove the 2 year conditioned green card? (I am not sure what is an AOS application is for) Thank you. Ricky
  5. Hi all, I read the kitchen sink page, it says the copy of NOA2 should be brought to the interview. Just wondering if anyone know about this? Thank you. Ricky
  6. Hi, During ACH/ACS, would they check if we are missing anything for our interview if we ask them to check? I think I would notarize my letter of evolution during ACS. I just want to know they could do a quick check of our case. Also, I have done a translation myself of my wife's marriage certificate. Anyone know if they would notarize that for me during ACS? Furthermore, for 2 documents notarization, the fee will be 50 USD. Do they accept RMB equivalent or has to in USD? Anyone know about this? Thank you. Very appreicate. Ricky
  7. Hi all, I am still preparing all the paper works for my wife's interview. We have printed about 50 pictures for both of my trips to china. Pictures show variety of the places we went and with her family/relatives members. I just want to see you guys opinion if that's enough? Or does the number of pictures matter in the interview? Thanks. Ricky
  8. One more question, do you guys prefer the papers to be binded or just leave them lose in the folders? I am not sure if they will ask any of our papers to make copies. Otherwise I might just bind all the papers in the folders so my wife won't have a mess when she needs to look for something. I think I saw some posts said I-864 need to be turned in...so leave that one unbinded? Thanks
  9. That one wont be an issue either, the G-325A is a supporting doc for the initial petition and sometimes people have clearer recall by the time they get to filling out the DS-230. So do I need to prepare a letter explaining that or they won't even catch it?
  10. Thank you to everyone who answered. The answers really helped me a lot on preparing.
  11. Firstly, smokiessky please forgive me to use your thread to ask my own question because I have a similar question (made mistake on forms). I just found out that when we filled out our G325 form we missed one city (lived after age 16 or something), but in our DS 230 we added that one city in there. So they don't match up ask the timeline wise. Will that be causing us any problem? or do I need to write up a letter explaining that too? Thank you very much
  12. Thanks for your reply KJJ. Do you know if we can use like a 1" 3-ring binder or does it have to be a folder? Thanks again
  13. Hi all, I thought I saw this somewhere in CFL, but I couldn't be able to find it. I am about to gather all the paper works for my wife's interview since I am going back to china pretty soon. I think someone posted something like having 4 folders (forgot what size and in what categories). Could someone please post that again if you know what i am talking about? (Basically i need to know how to organize the paper works for her interivew) Thank you very much Ricky
  14. Thanks for all the replies. We might as well just take the shots during the medical exam then.
  15. Hi, I am going to Guangzhou two weeks later and meeting my wife there. Just want to ask if she should take vaccin shots while we are there? (We haven't gotten the medical exam letter) Thanks,
  16. Yes, exactly the one I sent for I-130 USCIS and which got approved...so I don't really know what happened...
  17. Hi all, I recently got a RFE from NVC for marriage certificate. I am in that electronic process thing so I just scanned my marriage certificate to them. I don't really sure why we got a RFE because I did send one in. I am thinking that do I have to send the BENEFICIARY's marriage certificate to them since China issue one to each person. But basically the two certificates are identical except for the number. Anyone has been to this before please help. Thanks, Ricky
  18. Hi Ricky, About your "Covering letter with barcode", is the new GZO case number associated with the barcode or the GUZ number? Did you pay AOS fee and IV fee after you got GZO number or did you pay them with the GUZ number? Thank you! I got my GZO number after I turned in the DS-3032 and the optin email. Call NVC if you haven't got it already. I paid AOS and IV after I got GZO number
  19. A question there also - do they specify somewhere that it should be a pdf file, or would a jpeg or other format work also? Yes, they have to be in PDF format. "Under the electronic pilot program all forms that you must submit to the NVC must be completed in English and will be submitted as Portable Document Format (PDF) files."
  20. If you pay your fee online, after you paid your fee, you can download a cover page with barcode at the receipt page. (If you pay by other method, they will send a page by mail probably?? I have never tried it) The documents look OK on files...I didn't really do anything to it after I scanned except putting them in order. Honestly I don't know the answer for sure...I will have to let someone else annswer this one. But yes, after system shows "paid", then you can print the cover page.

  22. Hi, I am about to submit the DS 230 for my wife. I would like to know if I have everything included: Two (2) Passport Size Photographs of Beneficiary (since I am using electronic process, i guess i will just scan two pictures of her to them) DS-230 Part 1 completed and signed by beneficiary DS-230 Part 2 completed by beneficiary (unsigned), as of yet, per instructions Covering letter with barcode Photocopy of the Biographic Data Page(s) of Beneficiary¡¯s valid Chinese Passport Original scanned Birth Certificate of beneficiary Original scanned Marriage Certificate and its translation Original scanned Police Certificate for Beneficiary I saw on their site that they have a "Packet 3 Supplemental Information Sheet" Do I need to submit that as well for cr1? Thanks, Ricky
  23. Yes, I emailed them. Actually I got a change of case number email (maybe you could call nvc if you didn't receive any) after I turned in the email saying participate the electronic process, and it said I could turn in my AOS package.
  24. I just used the old one and paid online. After the new number is issue, if you login to the online fee payment page with the new number, it will bring you back to the same page as the old one. i sent the i-864 package after i paid that $70 with the cover page with barcode. I just submitted the package few days ago, so I haven't got any response yet. After you paid $70 and the choice of agent has received, you can see you could paid that IV $400. Pay that after you actually get an invoice for that $400 otherwise that will mess up their system.
