  1. Got to love them little Peaches......
  2. Here is the answer...... We have all heard the the saying "GO WEST, GO WEST...." Well now we need to start a new one, Go to the stars...... Population issue taken care of..... I know some of you think that is to far off the deep end. It is doable and is not so far fetched as one might think. I will not try to explain what I do know here about that. Just know that we do have the people that could do it. I is all the matter of wanting it. The idea of a culling will never sit well and is sure to start the wars of wars. Someone said something about a one world government, which will happen some time down the road. When this happens we are doomed because then the End Times are here. Yes that smacks of religion and if I stepped over the line there, I can't help it. It is what I believe.
  3. Here is the problem with the one child policy, it doesn't work. This is already showing in China. They already have an unbalance rate of male to female births. Not only that they have a negative birth rate, ie a non supporting rate. Less are being born to replace the existing population which is a problem. Now this is China that has a birth rate policy in place. Other countries that don't even have a birth control policy in place are already losing population, below the birth rate to keep the population growing. Most will not double in the normal 70 year rate. If I remember right even the US is just above this birth rate. Our hope is not just in population control, we have to look at the bigger picture. The article makes it sound so simple as if shrinking the population will save us, it will not. Even with our current population we can do very well at destroying our planet.
  4. Correct, CR-1 = Spouse Conditional Resident visa, results in a 2 year green-card if entry to the USA before 2 years of marriage. IR-1 is Immediate Relative Spouse visa, this is the visa code if visa is approved after 2 years of marriage, for example Kyle and Jingjing will get an IR-1 visa if approved. The resulting green-card upon entry is a 10 year un-conditional card. Note, you can get a CR-1 and if it is issued less than 6 months before 2 years of marriage and you simply delay entering the USA until AFTER two years of marriage, you simply show marriage cert to POE officer and point this out, the resulting green-card will be a 10 year un-conditional card. Lastly, CR-2, IR-2 = immigrant child, typically step-child of petitioner. This is just a comment of opinion..... I think it is kind of stupid that there has to be a 2 year time frame of being married to make the spouse an Immediate Relative Spouse..... Of course what do I know
  5. That is just to much..... Never thought of blaming him for my calling problems to the Philippines.
  6. Cr1s are fast now with electronic filing. how much faster with the electronic filing?
  7. Tsap Seui, Wouldn't expect anything less from you. But China will really need to re-think this one child thing real soon or their hopes of world control will fail bad......
  8. I believe the original plans were laid back right after WW2. This is when they started the plans for a one world econ. But I am sure they figured that the USA was going to be at the top the whole time. Notice I did not say one world order.......
  9. That's the question several of us were asking. SHould have been about 3 or 4 floors worth of basements. Where is it? It doesn't even have to be a basement there. All it needs is pilings driven down to bedrock as dnoblett said. They can even be wooden pilings of a rot resistant wood. Many old and even new build have these types of foundations.
  10. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/...g-collapse.html Somehow I can picture construction foreman...Cosmo Kramer, watching the building slowly falling over...looking around to see if anyone was paying attention to him, and running off up the sidewalk. GIDDY-UP!!!! tsap seui So Tsap Seui, which one was your new digs. The top floor , which is now the ground floor......
  11. Reported. Unfortunately I am only a plecebo mod on VJ, can only move things. He's had the same reception on Chinese Family Visa. Sadly some people are kicked wherever they go. Maybe because he has the old problem of open mouth insert foot syndrome..... ... and speakin' of A Devil! How'ya doin Corbin? Up to no good as always...... Went to the Philippines and loved it...... and the temp was just right...... HOT

  13. There should be a big market for towing companies these days. Someone needs to pick up those boats from the people who bought and never paid. yea its called the REPO man..... There just may be good money in becoming a repo man these days... That is until you are looking down the wrong end of a lead thrower......

  15. That's not really a surprise, is it? I mean, I know very few Einsteins make it to Congress, but why wouldn't a creditor cut back on lending? All major US credit card companies are slashing credit limits and pruning out less creditworthy cardholders. The "China Credit Card Company" should be doing the same. Now what would be truly newsworthy -- and funny as hell -- would be to see the US Government slash government salaries, benefits and perks. It's about time the government started practicing what they preach and live within its means. Yeah, like that's gunna happen anytime soon. About as soon as pig fly.....
  16. My question is who would pay for the hotel stay. They are forcing the people to stay and how about the missed connecting flights. Not that I want anyone next to me or on the plane with this strain of flu.
  17. Interesting story...... The number of people that know about this in China compared to the population is a drop in the bucket more or less. China is going to keep this on the low as much as possible, but it will gain ground over time. The question is, as it gains ground how will they deal with it. In this day and age information can spread like wild fires... yes it will be silenced like most stuff they don't want the Chinese citizens to know about, but it will get out more than in the past. If there is a will there is a way to spread the info....
  18. I think if Chinese automakers can grasp the concept of quality AND price they'll be another automotive powerhouse like Japan. Don't worry they will do that... How long it will take is the question. I remember there was a time when Japanese stuff was call junk and look now where they are. Yea .. now if only the USA carmakers could do it in cars made for USA consumption (not for export to Europe). I'm not sure if US automobiles are of lesser mechanical quality that, say, Japanese cars. At one point they truly were, but over the past few years my family members that own American cars say that they are very pleased with the actual quality. It's the service they say still sucks. The last time I bought a car in the States I had to make the decision between Saturn (GM) and Lexus or Infiniti. I went to several of the GM dealers and met the stereotypical high pressure money grubbing salesmen. I told them I'd like to test drive a car and they first wanted to "pre-qualify" me, have me sign all sorts of releases and then the salesman said he had to accompany me for the 10 minute test drive. Par for the course, right? I went to the Lexus dealer. The guy saw I was wearing jeans and driving my brother's old jalopy and wouldn't even talk with me. I went to the Infiniti dealer. Immediately the saleman asked me if I wanted some juice and whole wheat muffins and asked me what kind of car I was interested in. He gave me a very brief run-down on the differences between the various models and said he'd be back in 15 minutes to help with any questions. I looked around and afrer a while the guy came back and asked me which one I wanted to test drive. Amazed, I told him and he gave me the keys and walked me to the car. He said it had a full tank of gas, but if I needed more just fill it up and give him the receipt. I was shocked that he wasn't coming with me. I told him I'd be back in about 15 minutes and he said, "Why so fast? Take your time. Go pick up your wife and some friends and talk them for a drive. It's only 11 am now and we don't close until 9 pm. If you're gonna be later than 9, give me a call and I'll wait for you." I bought the Infiniti. Easy bargaining process. Very low stress. When it was time for all the preventative maintenance like oil changes, I was amazed that the dealer only charged about 50% more than if I had gone to a fast-food type of place. I brought my car in in the morning, got a LOANER, went to work and after work drove the LOANER back to pick up my car. Not only did they do the maintenance, but they washed & waxed the car and left roses in the car that I could give to my wife. All the while even the lot boy called me by name. I wouldn't care if all US auto manufacturers / dealers went directly to hell in a handbasket. And I wrote a letter to Lexus, too. The moron got fired and is now working for -- surprise, surprise -- Ford. I have to agree with you that overall the quality is better for USA cars but they still never offered us the kind of car/truck I wanted. Before I left the States I had a Toyota Tocoma. This was all the truck I wanted. The Ford F-150 and Chevy fullsize trucks are great with good quality but I would never buy a Ford Ranger or the the Chevy Luv. Also your right about customer service especially the sales pitch from USA car dealers. Where was this Infiniti dealer? I need a new car when I get back. The old Chevy Luv was made by Izusu. It was a rust bucket for sure. back in the day of bad steel......

GZBILL, this doesn't totally shock me about the dealers as I have never been to happy about any car dealer that I have dealt with. Even the one VW / Mazda dealer that I bought a car from wasn't much better than the US ones. As for car quality I would say that the US and Japanese are about the same. I know there will be some that will not agree, so be it.... I have owned at least one car or two from each of the US makers. Not all have been new but they all were fairly good. Some better than the others.

  21. I'm sure it will be unblocked at sometime in the near future......
  22. Bottom line is that pollution fixes right now are secondary.... Fixing the Economy is more important and until that is well in hand pollution problems will have to wait as far as most will be concerned.....
  23. So please tell me how my post is a US bashing post.....
  24. Indeed it is....just found this... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100da...lobal-currency/ Ya'll hold your breath waiting for this to happen. Oh it may never happen, but it doesn't help the US economy one bit in the condition it is now. Every little peace of info that scares the people makes them less sure about their future economy..... We already have a few places here in the Detroit area printing scripts to take the place of US money only good for the local area. This and I just read about one of our local papers which has been publishing for 174 years is going out of business (Ann Arbor News). The economy is getting real bad in the good old USA.....
  25. This kind of communication goes back to the early Christian days even. Ever wonder where the fish symbol for Christians came from? It was a way for a Christian to say they were without saying it to the Romans. They would put it buy their door to let other Christians know that it was a safe house to stay at and that they would be with other Christian followers. The Romans thought it was just fishermen's homes.
