  1. Thanks all for your kindly reply. Get hired by a HK company would be really tough. Yeah, the economy of HK is not that good. Besides that, I don't think I'm an excellent staff compare with those locals. I don't know Cantonese. My oral English may not be that good as them... To me, I just don't have enough confidence to get a job in HK. Seems like either we will marry or not, the easiest way is, me moving to Shenzhen working. <Sigh....> Any more ideas?
  2. Yeah, we are looking for suggestions. I wish we can get some idea from here... PS, above is my GG~ He finally shows up in this website
  3. This is a really close game!!! But, Congratulations!!! Yankees WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Oopps, I just noticed here has the one for Yankees!!! GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Sorry ...but my GG and I are all Yankee fans. Go Yankees!!!
  6. Since you mentioned Mick, I have another one to tell: Fart Blaster Maggie
  7. Candle allows different people share different opinions. If AOF doesn't attack people here, we should be more open-minded to let him share his opinion. I don't think we are right as we treat him so tough. Let's just talk about the issue, do not talk about "someone". In Chinese saying, Dui Shi Bu Dui Ren. Anyway, take it easy guys.
  8. It's ok, Se lang. Yeah, currently I only allow my GG call me like that--as I have no choice! B)
  9. B) Don't call me that, Se Lang! B) Yeah, we should always have a sense of humor to LIFE!
  10. Do Americans really fart more than Chinese? Or are the Chinese just more subtle, raising up on cheek and easing out a silent but deadly blast? I met a number of Chinese who could really let fly. Mick, from what I found, 1. Americans do fart more than Chinese B) 2. You are right on this. Chinese have more concern on their "faces". Well...I think this is part of our culture. B) Maggie
  11. Dave, I just read those old posts by you and Sarah. From what I know from those posts, I think Sarah is a nice woman. I still suggest you to try every possible way to catch Sarah and talk to her one more time. I think you still love her and don't want to lose her. Maybe she is the same. If she goes back to China, it may be another long long waiting to get her in US again... Try it! Maggie
  12. Here are ours~ I usually call him (note: as a nickname): Ugly, Stupid, Ben Dan(Chinese for "Stupid"), Bai Chi(Chinese for "idiot"), Dummy, Moron, Da Huai Dan(Big Bad Egg, heehee), Mei Guo Da Bai Zhu(American big white pig), Baddy, Silly... "Stupid" becomes to be his name after we are together. When I answer the phone call from him, the first word I will say is: Stupid, ~~ When I write email to him, the beginning is: Hi Stupid, .... When he reply to my email, he will also sign his name in the end as "Stupid"..hahaa...Good Boy! He calls me: Ugly(Even though I'm beautiful B) ), Fatty (I'm not fat!), Fartknocker or balbalball(For this one I need to say something. It is HIM that always farts in front of me, but he always teases me on that and gives me all that kind of nicknames! ...Anyway, you know, I would say, Americans do fart a lot..LOL... Well, of course we also have many sweet nicknames for each other...But we do enjoy calling each other those little pet names... They are love words! Maggie
  13. Thanks Bob and Tony. No, I don't think she's coming back. I think that not knowing what the final outcome would be was too fustrating for her. We ahd lots of issues - and out of respect for Sarah , I will not discuss them in detail. I will say that while they were serious, they were not insumountable. Or at least I thought so. I just wish we hadn't waited so long to go to counseling. May I ask Dave, Have you already had the feeling now that you two would not be a good couple?!
  14. I'm so surprised to hear this, Dave. As a member of CFL, I saw lots of your posts. And it's always sad to know some loved ones split... Met, Fell in love, waited for the visa for a long time, got together...I do believe that LOVE is the only thing during all this period. Communication and Understanding may cause problems during the life together... Try to use love to solve all these problems. I once had a hard time with my GG after we were with his parents two years ago. We even talked about "no matter what happens, you will still be my best friend..." But our LOVE to each other solved this easily. We talk openly to each other about everything, every feelings, good or bad, sweet or sad. And this helps to increase our understanding. Sometimes we feel like we have no differences but just man and woman. Try to understand more about Sarah and think more about the relationship. You two have tried so hard to be together. Give LOVE one more chance!! I wish everything would be fine... Maggie
