I'm not judging, just genuinely curious - what's keeping you from leaving her? Do you really think things would be even worse if you were on your own? Obviously bickering, getting fed up with each other, and the occasional blow up are unavoidable even in healthy couples, but spitting is just straight up mental instability. Worse than spitting is being woke up in the middle of the night with her beating me with a belt buckle. Or being woke up with a pail of water thrown on me and then having to try and stop her from doing more.

I agree with you on every point. They are well known for their right fighting way of life. Sounds like we have some things in common with our wives. It's rough but I'm Almost fed up with it. This is not how I want to be the rest of my life. Still trying to salvage but not much longer do go..

For example, she misplaces the screwdriver, then she finds it. Of course it is my fault then she goes on a rant about asking God to please kill me. Over and over again she says that. This is a normal day. I am always very careful not to say anything to set her off but it doesn't matter.

And straight up mental instability is the deal I've been handed. Her first eight years in life was in the height of the Cultural Revolution.

That's an understatement. For those wondering why I haven't bolted, she had the perfect plan. There was no escape!

Well I hope none of y'all have experienced the physical abuse that I have. It's been really rough. And then there is the daily mental abuse. I could bring her up on charges of elderly abuse but in reality that would make things much worse. One time she was throwing water on me and biting me. When I started bleeding I ran out and locked myself in the car and called 911. The police came. They saw me bleeding but didn't see anything wrong with her. They asked me if I wanted to have her locked up. I said no....all I want is to clean myself up and go to a hotel. They said ok. Next thing I know they were taking us both to jail. She told them I was hurting her. She had pinched her Adams apple and made a red bruise. She told them I did it. That taught me a good lesson. Never bring the police into our troubles.

Wow she is lucky. You try to teach them and keep them safe but they look at it as perhaps you might know something more than them.

Sorry to hear of the trouble you're having. I'm a newcomer to this board so I don't know what you've posted before, but hopefully things end up working out one way or another. If there's any advice you can offer, it'd be much appreciated for a "greenhorn" like me Welcome!. This has been going on for 12 years. Hell I have suffered so much abuse that it has just become a normal way of life. I hope you have better luck than I have! Nice to hear from someone new. Come on back and let us hear from you!

Ok the hornet's nest is history. She killed more than 100 hornet's one at a time😕 But the last one got her good before it died. I just don't get it. Absolutely no common sense at all!

Thanks guys. Larry you are the greatest! Thank you so much. Just to make sure everyone understands I am in no way putting the blame on her in any way. She is just being herself. It's just that I don't have anything to look forward to each day other than a few more aches and pain. Don't even look forward to playing gigs anymore

Life has sucked for the last 12 years and I don't foresee a change in the future. Makes me want to start back smoking again then at least I could look forward to a cigarette 👍
