1. My wife has a High School diploma. Will it be of any use to her when she comes to the US or will she have take the GED test??
2. Sorry to hear the latest setback. Try to keep cool. the prior post are on point. Good luck, like Pushbrk said, your case is still in Guz and not sent back to the USA. hang in there, you're almost there.
3. I would disagree with the comment of tainted english. I have been here for 15 years and meet more people from places other than Atlanta than from Atlanta. Frank himself has no accent to my detection.
4. I understand, but I can 2 day for about $6 using my companies rates. I like the ability to track my mail. Please don't say RFE
5. Basically, I guess it would be a waste of money to go and find this, since I'm sure I can just buy 2 like I would need. When else in my life would I need these? I may just use the big paper clip. I did buy a 2 hole punch... it was $7. and the colored tabs... add this with the $20 fed-ex bill.. it's starting to add up before I even write my first check.
6. Bob, I really glad to see you got your P4. hoping for the best for you.
7. I really hate to do it, but I went and sent her the copies vix express mail. I guess better safe than sorry. It should arrive there 7/17. and she will sign and Fedex them back. She tried to download the form, but she couldn't. Plus she couln't open the links I sent to her. When I was there, I tried to use the fillable form in a internet office, but it wouldn't let me type, that is why I have this problem in the first place. Hopefully I can have this puppy fill by the end of the month or the beginning of August.
8. Does anyone know what this is? it is supposed to be used to fasten your petition together.
9. I was just reading the instructions for the I-864 form because I am updating mine for the interview and the 2nd thing it states is use black or blue ink. It's sad that they have different ink requirements for different forms! 229238 Complete it in blue ink, make a copy (good copy) next thing you know "bob's your uncle" you have a form in all black. 229241 Uncle Bob , I did try that, but I'm afraid they might insist on the original. The only place I have this problem is on the I-130 and the G325a.
10. Probably sems like a silly question, but I just got back from China and I didn't see that USCIS wanted black ink.
11. too late... many of my documents are written with blue ink, should it matter to USCIS? If I take the time to send her documents again to sign, it would add a lot of time so I could be ready to file the papers.
12. Thanks stacato, this exactly what I was looking for. I do have a problem already. Everything I have so far is written in Blue ink... will this cause a problem??? My wife's signature is written in blue to be more specific. A photocopy would fix this... does it matter if USCIS receives copies of the forms?
13. Now that I'm trying to organize to prepare my package, I can't find the link to organize the package to send. Does anyone know where that is off hand? Also, I know they mentioned some kind of "clip" to hold the papers together, I have no idea what the are referring to... I believe a Advco clip was the term. I have everyting I need I beleive, pics, documents, evidence,...etc. I hope to send these puppies off in the next 2 week and jump into the "BIG WAIT".... again congrats to those who have moved forward... the interviews and the "reunions" and those who are just still here.
14. 1" padding?? Really?? 224276 yes, this is true... sometimes i sleep on my stomach, I can't on the chinese befs, it hurts my ribs. she likes it hard. Ilike a cushy bed
15. I know this is something that will be an expense once she gets here. She can only get $1000 per year care her, so I imagine it will take a while. the root canals are very expensive, I paid $900 for one a few years back It will be a challenge. I try not to talk about it too much now. I don't want her to feel bad. I do talk to her, but just not a lot at one time. I know she has some issues. I will get her on my insurance on thursday at my company... her and her son that is.
16. There is a portion on the G325a that asks for the name to be written in the native language... does that apply to my ladies 14 year old son? should he write in his name?
17. Dennis, you are just having too much fun my man. Keep upi the good work
18. I work for an insurance company. I have 30 days after the marriage to add my new wife and child. They told me with the other woman, she didn't need a SS#, but she had one. I wasn't able to remove her until I produced divorce papers.
19. My Ex-wife's last name was Yang. My new SO last name is Yang... they are not related and grew up in different parts of the country. The ex in Louyang and the current in Beihai, Southern China. In your opinion, do you think this will matter in the process? I didn't want this idea to get confused with the other post, but that post made me think about it more.
20. Lee, it wasn't so much the surname, that I wouldn't think would be so difficult to explain. The first name was changed also, that is where my concern is. 221981 The Notarial document that links the two names as the same person as on the birth certificate and the different passport name should be enough. Be sure to list the alias on the paperwork for the child. Hopefully the child is younger than 16 by enough that a name check is not required, otherwise this could slow you down a bit. 221986 Thanks Lee, I will check into this when I can get a break at work. Good information. I hope it won't become an issue, that is him becoming 16 ... that is almost 2 years from now... but who knows what will happen in the future.

22. Actually I'm a big man fan. I was a big Kareem fan so i was on the boat then. and when shaq came along, I was in Orlando, then LA, now Miami. Yes, I'm a fair-weather basketball fan.... I used to watch basketball all the time, but no more, only during the playoffs now.... I'm really a true blue bad weather / good weather football fan. I'm a New York Giants fan forever.
23. No amendment needed, I have not met her yet. That is in 2 1/2 weeks I'm just a worry wort
24. Not her name, it was her son's name... first and last. I thought it was strange, but now when I see it was her father, it makes me laugh. He has provided support since the divorce mostly. I guess he got pissed and insisted the name be changed completely. I don't understand a person who can turn thier back on thier child. She told me her ex and her son were in the same room during the "grave sweeper" holiday a moth or so back and it was like neither existed to the other. I just couldn't do it myself.
