The divorce tripped her up. I saw a similar thing this week that resulted in a blue for someone (not from CFL). If you are divorced they will ask the SO about it most likely if it was around the time you met. If it was years in the past they might ask how many marriages have you had. Make sure she knows how many, even if YOU don't count that marriage and rarely stressed it to your SO because it lasted a month in your early 20s or something. Write a letter explaining how your wife got confused about when you separated and when you divorced. Do that before ACH, get it notarized at ACS perhaps. Did you attend ACH on Monday? Did you get any notarizations at ACS? Did you wife bring your passport in with her so the VO knew you were in the country supporting her? Follow Stepbrow's posts closely. Hello All, I have a question about filing application. If my wife is planning on helping out my cousin in southeast asia. She is planning to move there for the next couple month while we are waiting for our CR1 or K3 would it cause any problem? This is just a thought right now. My family is originally from Southeast asia and still have lots of relative there. On the K1 we were white. I think if she is going to live with my family there it would make a bonafide relaitonship. It is hard for them to do that at night too. They need to give you 24 hours before they go into your house anyway. If they break in then just smack them with something. Call Dylan and tell him you have a robber in the house what should you do. At night Dylan is always awake.

Don't worry about it. You can call again and someone will tell you it is still in custom. I did that and found out if I call three times in a day I can get three different answers.

How important are wedding picture? I am deciding to have a small wedding here with just her close family would that cause any trouble later on with GUZ. They deny the K1 based on non bonafide relationship so I got marry and now will have a small cermony with her parent, uncle and cousin. About 13 people including both of us. CR-1 comes about because on an I-130 petition filed. K-3 comes about because of BOTH an I-130 and I-129F being filed. CR-1 - file the I-130 K-3 - File the I-130, wait for the NOA1 - then file the I-129F using the I-130 receipt number. No Fee for filing the I-129F for a K-3. My attorney Marc Ellis strongly advised that you do not 'give up' the original I-129F. Instead, you study the reasons that you feel the denial was given and rebut it with the new I-130 application. I would talk to your landlord and explain the situation to them because the reason they put that in the contract is to keep some people from subrenting out to others and claim that they are visiting. But if it is your parent they would understand. At most they will ask for a little bit more in rent and that is still usually cheaper then renting another room or apartment. Joe
