  2. Hello all I have been reading as many postings as possible and i came across this one reguarding COPY OF TAX RETURNS FY 2000, 2001 AND 2002 WITH OATH OF AUTHENTICITY Could someone please explain oath of Authenticity is and what is needed to do this This is from the AOS stage but i am wondering if it is nessary for my support I-135 prior to our interview?? Right now I just went and had my Tax returns Notarized in the back Of the 1st page but i guess i better make copies Thanks Todd
  3. It stands for "Direct Consular Filing"... when a USC is living overseas, they can file directly to a USCIS overseas office (at a consulate). It is a street term that government agencies do not use, but "do it yourself" communities know. When talking to an agency, one should refer to it as 'filing a I-130' at the consulate. Thank you DavidZixuan You are a wealth of Info
  4. Now remember RLS, this is still a guess (albeit an educated one). Once you think your package has arrived and STAMPED by GUZ, then it's time to call DoS and confirm if your GUZ case # had its status updated to "OPEN" from "LOADED". Let us know next week if your status has changed. Wishing you the best! how do We call DOS? to find out
  5. That first amount applies to CR1 cases (Immigrant Visas); the latter to K# cases (Non Immigrant Visas)... check the sections again and confirm that the visa type is mentioned relative to the amount.. if there is clearly some misinformation there, let me know where it is, to correct it. The K visa fee is actually the $100. You pay the current RMB equivalent. The DS230 mentions only the Immigrant visa fee which is a total of $380. IR1 and CR1 pay the current RMB equivalent. Eventually everybody ends up paying the $380 one way or another but the K visas pay a separate $100 in China. Normally, Immigrant visa fees are paid by the petitioner, in the USA, before the case is shipped to GUZ. DCF filers pay in Country. What is DCF ?

Filing at NVC for CR1/CR2: I-864 = $70 USD , paid as Affidavit of Support / Biometric fee. Immigrant visa: CR-1/IR-1 = $380 (3,154 RMB, per visa) , paid as DS-230 fee. Ok I understand now thank you Gentelmen Todd

In this time of waiting and hoping, we need to stop and thank all that has helped us stay sane. and it is easy to get caught up in the process, I find it better in life to take a time out and breath. 19. Pink is Good: visa approved Blue is Bad: more information is needed before the visa can be approved White is Death: application is rejected and is being returned to the states. Thank you For that colorful explaination, I hope all in here never see White or Blue

  21. -------------------------------- How can I arrange the schdule for medical and interview in guanzhou??. I would love to do that save time and money. any suggestions??
  22. First I would like to know how to put my time line on my profile...??? Second: My SO will most likely get her medical in Beijing. Will she need to pay for the visa prior to the Medical exam?? And to All whom have helped with Questions, May all your dreams come true Thank you Todd
  23. That website assumes your visa process will take a few months and will likely not face a delay; not the 8-16 months that is more realistic for china... You should wait closer to the P3 and get past the common delay sections. If you were to get some of the documents too early (ie: notarial translations, employer letter), and then you faced a delay, they could expire and require new ones. ---------------------------------------- Wow !!!! 8-16 months i have filed this thing in may of 2006 wow what a wait. I should wait to send the I-134 as well ??
