  1. Yes - that maskes it all worthwhile, except that they did squeeze one extra (increased) EAD fee out of us. Thanks! Dang, that great news Randy. This isn't exactly a forum that has anything to do with me, but I saw the name Randy and thought, hey...maybe it was you with the good luck. I'm happy for you both. tsap seui Thanks, Tsap!
  2. Phew - I've been okayed by the CFL Surgeon General! Thank you
  3. Did you have something else you wanted to talk about?
  4. I don't expect to be assigned homework from Candle
  5. See you over at Google... It's hard to Google when you don't know what you're Googling for - perhaps the original poster could shed some light on his original topic Wikipedia didn't seem real impressed - perhaps this is what you're talking about?
  6. Okay, Jesse! We give up! What is unique about the Hong Kong airport?
  7. I'll bet just blowing that thing generates enough wind to make your car go 5 to 10 mph faster

  9. It's not clear why, but it does say this: I don't think any of us here on this site have ever either had one or been asked to get one, except for the cases of American citizens born in China leaving for the first time.
  10. The children of an American citizen are always American citizens, even if born abroad. If born in China, for example, they would be issued an American passport which would allow them to enter the US. The passport, however would have no entry stamp for when the holder entered the country. This child would usually be required to get an 'exit visa'. I'm not aware of any other use for it. What did you read that made you think you might need one?
  11. They had a lot of visitors when I was there http://i33.tinypic.com/rs7zp2.jpg http://i33.tinypic.com/f0cidt.jpg http://www.reuters.com/article/oddlyEnough...ndChannel=10278 Download here: http://www.beyondspaceandtime.org/FCBSTWeb/web/index.html
  12. Yes - for re-arranged geography, dating back centuries, check out Tokyo.
  13. Well, okay! Just be patient. But if it doesn't show up, then all you can do is to file the I-824 for a duplicate (or try an InfoPass appointment to see if they'll re-mail it). Watch your mailbox for now. However, your case will carry on with or without the NOA2. Next thing that happens is the NVC approval notice, then the P3 to your SO (hopefully, by the end of the year)
  14. Who is Sir Real? Whoops. Never mind. "Sir Real" himself just called and filled me in... Wow - he even changed it on his website http://sirrealcomix.mrainey.com/page/g/GodNose-4.htm Click on "Click for detailed cover"
  15. K-2 needs to be issued within 1 year after the K-1 to FTJ, so I would not wait longer than 6 months or so after the K-1 was issued to start the K-2 FTJ process. If he was named in your wife's visa application, there is nothing to file! Simply notify GUZ to activate his file. The best way to do this is to notify them by mail, and include the necessary P3 documents. Time will not be a constraint here - after they have received your P3 information, let them know a time frame when you can be there for the interview.

  17. http://washingtontimes.com/news/2008/oct/1...uns-fight-back/ Those are actually two activists who happen to be Catholic nuns - they could as easily be Greenpeace.
  18. It may have - if they don't have his correct address, he wouldn't know (until he calls, like you suggest). But the P3 should show up (but isn't THAT late, too?).
  19. Nope - he got the email notice that it was approved - now he needs the hardcopy NOA2. If he didn't get the NOA1 either, it may be that they have the wrong address.
  20. You will need a copy of the NOA2 when you apply for AOS. There is a form you can use to apply for a duplicate (with a fee, unfortunately). Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition I-824 allows you to apply for a duplicate Notice of Action
  21. No, it's the same in Texas - any state ID will allow you to get a driver's license. But the requirements for the Texas ID are pretty much the same as for the driver's license.
  22. EXCEPT that the child MAY interview up to one year later. It is advisable that the parent be at this interview also.
