  1. Even excruciating things like waits and interviews are life so just enjoy- good luck
  2. Our wait was a month clearing customs almost to the day. You can follow it as noted before thru the DHL website - you have to guess which packet your files are in (I assumed the slowest) and follow it. Then it took us 1 week to deliver P3. Keep praying and checking, Bruce
  3. John, thanks for keeping the list - it is very, very helpful . I find myself extrapolating (wow did i spell that right) the dates to see when the window for our interview will be. Good luck to all. Bruce
  4. One way is thru SkyPier. This is a new service (6 months) at HK airport that allows you to pass thru HK without going thru customs. Before you get to customs there is a Sky Pier desk. You essentially transit by ferry to Macau or Fuyong (SZ airport) or Shekou or GZ. I've used it to go to Macau and then Zhuhai because lastferry to Zhuhai usually leaves before the non stop flights from NY arrive. You can get a schedule online thru HK airport. Good luck. Bruce
  5. Received an e-mail reply from GZ that they can't tell me when our interview will be scheduled but it certainly won't be February based on their schedule. P3 was received 10/31 in GZ so I wasn't really expecting anything. Just hoping.... Bruce
  6. Have been going to China for the past 18 years traveling there every 2 months on business as well as recently opening an office in Zhuhai - the China part is easy. It's the DOS , red tape, etc which is intense sometimes and CFL is a big help. BTW having recently set up the above mentioned office I was impressed with the officials in the Chinese Government handling the papers. Certainly much better than the average drivers license renewal in New York. Ever notice Chinese love to stamp a lot of papers to make everything official - I find it amusing. Bruce
  7. First post. Thanks to all for interesting reading (lele - I like the passion/fire even though I often don't agree - must be Sichuan like my laopo) and often very informative information. The long wait is certainly easier with others in the same situation. Have been a very interested reader of CFL for some time - finally taking time to participate(a good 2005 thing to do). Bruce
