Steve called DOS many times for this info and this is what I get: 1/10 proved NVC did 3 name checks on me, once in Jan. and twice in Feb. Case was aproved by NVC and sent to GZ on 2/3 P3 was recieve on 4/7 I didn't have name check again after that. Steve called twice and they told him that my name check is done and enter GZ computer system on 4/15 Hope this helps.

Yes, ID is needed to pick up the VISA. Thank you for remind us. Anyway, still don't understand why GZ can't just issue the VISA right after the interview?
