What are the information that USCIS-MSC usually requesting additional evidence or information? I just want to be prepared ahead before receiving the notice in the mail. Thanks for you help.

In my traditon, even here in the good USA, we still have the 3 days or more of mourning. The immediate family members would have sleepless night. All the cousins and friends will come from all over the world to pay there respect if they can make it here. Imagine eating fresh beef everyday for 3 or more days.

I was at the IRS yestereday trying to square out the W7-form (ITIN) for my wife. The lady at the IRS office wants to see and make a copy of my wife's current IDD card (original, not copy) plus her passport which I have with me, and our marriage booklet/certiificate . Apparently her passport is not enough proof that she is still reside in China and is married me. Reason for the IDD card is for proof that she is a Chinese citizen. Now I am waiting for her IDD card to get here to me so i can get my refunds........

As far as I know about mine, there is no case number assign at NOA1 & NOA2... Correct me if I'm wrong, I think the case number will be assigned at NVC. You should have recieved an I-797C for NOA1

Most city in china has the 110/120volt USA outlet...but if you need one you can buy one at brookstone.

I was married in Shenzhen, China 2.5 months ago and yes you do need the affidavit of single status to be translated to Chinese. If you have this ready, it'll take about 1 hour to get your marriage booklet. otherwise, it might take half a day or longer. CK

I'm leaving for Shenzhen, China tomorrow morning. Get the marriage certification and then fly to Chengdu to visit her family for a week or so and have a reception with the family. Then heading back to Shenzhen for a few days before coming back home on October 11...

dam, you guys got it for cheap. I guess I'm the unlucky 1 who spend close to 2K roundtrip from Boston to Shenzhen. Next time, I'm going from NY-Nework to HK again.

I fill in the form that the GZ office has on there site to let them know that I'm in Shenzhen. I will do that again before I leave to Shenzhen on September 24th.
