  1. The Dan-tien is the store house of chi without a doubt. Yin with its darkness and cold would eventually overwhelm Yang. Yang being light, light as we know it is a product of the sun. Suns burn out, Yin triumphs with its eternal darkness and cold..
  2. Now just why would I care to click that link? Could it possibly be something I'd be interested in? I'm not curious enough to try it. Why not copy and paste the first paragraph of the article so someone can judge for themself if they are interested enough to follow the link. It is like a gift wrapped in plain brown bag paper, is it the paper or what is rapped in the brown bag paper?
  3. Nice picture from China the Beautiful, but tell me would this picture be drawn by a Northern or Southern Chinese artist? I think Southern..
  4. This energy is Chi it is stored in the Dan-tien a spot just below the belly button. circulates downward and around, up the back (spine) to the shoulders, where it can be released from the extremities. In Taiji the Dan-tien is talked of quite often. Of Yin/Yang, which one is the more powerful?

  6. http://www.vl-site.org/taoism/index.html Quick quiz, (no looking for answer). What color is Yang in the Yin/Yang symbol?
  7. You could contact Marc Ellis an immigration attorney. marcellislaw@gmail.com
  8. This is a mix bag of understanding at least for me it is,. If you are denied for a K1 and marry and apply for CR1, the denial of the K1 will show for the CR1, unless before the interview for USCIS gives you the opportunity to respond to the K1 denial, rules in your favor and sends it back to the Consulate, but suppose they do not give you the opportunity or rules against you, quite possible the CR1 will be denied also. These are my thoughts.
  9. OK, thanks, I'll do what was suggested.
  10. This letter states that the Consulate did not issue the visa. Consular Officer were not convinced my relation with her was bonafide. So USCIS is asking me if I want to continue support of the K1 and to provide documentary evidence supporting the relation and that she and I are free and intend to marry within ninety days, nuts and bolts of the letter. xiexie for the help.
  11. USCIS has sent the 33 day letter, what is better, try for the K1 being returned to China or going with the CR1?
  12. We were considering the CR1 until I receive a letter for the K1, may answer the K1 and go that route again. What would be the better way for the visa?
  13. I have read, not to make reservations to get the best rate, just show up at the hotel and negotiate, I can see the downside of this, a possible night on a bench somewhere but I understand that is the Chinese way at least in Beijing.
  14. I received the same letter, but after this letter there is another one that will ask you if you wish to continue or withdraw and you have 33 days to do so, it is this letter I wonder about affecting the CR1 if ignored.
  15. I didn't cancel mine and was successful with an IR1. To this date, my failed K1 is STILL sitting at the USCIS for further review. Did both of you receive a denial for "non-bonafide relation"? Chilton747, did you receive a notice of this denial from USCIS, did you answer USCIS, if one chooses in writing to have the K1 withdrawn what effect would this have on a CR1? If one does not respond to the request by USCIS what effect would this have on a CR1? What is the best to do if you receive a letter from USCIS, stay with the K1 or try for the CR1?
  16. I relocated to Beijing and got married. That was another ordeal getting married in China but got it done. What ordeal did you experience, getting married in China?

  18. Thank you for that explanation on "reasonable person" I believe my case falls under those guidelines, White slip was the outcome even after submitting some more information requested on a blue slip. One item in resubmitting is the cost, not the cost as an expense, but the cost as something that was paid for in the original application that was not adjudicated according to law based on the facts of the case, how does DOS justifie taking someone's money this way? Maybe if the fee was returned, they would give more thought to the review.
  19. Continental does not charge for a second bag on international flights and on a multicity flight (arrive Bejing, depart Hong Kong) no major price difference, "Fly the friendly sky"..
  20. i paid 776 from hong kong to jfk 2 weeks ago, cathay pacific airlines. Continental Airlines for around $800-$1000.00 round trip from Hong Kong, they seem to be the best price wise and non-stop from Newark, NJ. One way tickets for some reason almost always equal a round trip ticket. To the west coast from China should be even less.
  21. What would the price be leaving from Hong Kong, I'm willing to bet substantial less.
  22. Part B question 8 and 9, date and place of marriage (if married) would this question mean the current spouse, one is petitioning for? One other question Part D:question 2, Have you ever filed a petition and the results how do you answer this if approved by USCIS then denied at GUZ?
  23. This isn't about being anal-retentive, is it?
