audelair
Hello, My in-laws are planning to visit the US sometime in the near future. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the best way to handle health insurance for them while they are here? Thank you very much!
SheLikesME?
father in law is scheduled for B2 interview 12-26. I asked wife about travel health insurance. She says he never goes to the doctor anyway and would just go home if he gets sick. I wonder about accidents, but she wants to save the money and trust her instincts. But I wonder this same thing. I forget where to look and how much the cost is.

Shenzhen K-1
Joanne did a pole on this awhile back. Check this out for some information. http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?...ic=23765&hl Not that expensive if you go to the link Joanne gave!! Accidents are covered by home owners or renters insurance, but a insurance check-up would not hurt!
audelair
Thanks for the link to that poll! Has anyone had any experiences ordering from any of those places? A google search found that WorldMed seems to be recommended for comprehensive insurance (available from the www.travelinsure.com website linked in the other thread). Urkidding
Hello, My in-laws are planning to visit the US sometime in the near future. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the best way to handle health insurance for them while they are here? Thank you very much! My in-laws are here visiting right now. No insurance as per the wife. They are in good health and we watch them like little babies. As far as traveling alone. Send them with english play cards (index) with various things pre-printed such as... Where is the bathroom? May I have a glass of water? include your name, address and phone number on one of them for purposes of an emergency. These worked great for my in-laws traveling from LA to Houston. Yuanyang
I need to find out about this as mother is 76 and will be here this summer (hopefully). While lao po says she's in excellent health it does worry me alot and I'd like to find out the cost of coverage just-in-case.
