Poverty Level?

I worked half the year in 2004 because I had just came back from teaching English in China in February 04 and didn't find a job until June 04. So...I bashfully made 22k in 04.

 

As of Feb 15, 2005 I got a new job and currently gross 68k.

 

Obviously, in my previous job I made I would've made more had I worked the whole year.

 

In 2003, I worked half the year and claimed 25k, and in 2002, I made a whopping 50k.

 

I know this sounds all jacked up, but I really don't think I need a cosign

 

What do you yall think?

You'll be fine even if they look at the tax returns. You are above the poverty level which is why they are looking.

It depends on how large your family is, but 125% of the poverty level for a family of two is just over $16k, so you are well above that......You got no worries.

I think a letter from your current boss showing your substantial income will be enough. When the VO asks her what your job is, have her show the VO your job letter first - after that they most likely won't ask for any tax info.
