larrynicholas
DS-156 question 26 asks are long do you intend to stay in the US. I wrote "forever" since I am going to marry my fiancee. But I am not sure that is the proper answer since this is a non-immigrant visa. How are others answering this question? thanks, Larry stay in the U.S.? Link to comment

yave20b
We put "Permanently - purpose of visa is to come to us to marry my fiancee <American fiancee name here>" and it worked because she got her visa. Link to comment
sailorboy
We put "Permanently - purpose of visa is to come to us to marry my fiancee <American fiancee name here>" and it worked because she got her visa.I go with "Permanently" as the appropriate response. It is the one keyword they look for then float on by. All the other answers are great, just think the word "permanent" is best. By all means, don't use any words they have to look up in a dictionary!! Dave B) Link to comment
