so far I can't purchase ticket until my passport here, 2 more weeks before birth cert get here. i keep looking at the cost of trip to viet nam sloly rise, eatting into my budget. now asking a sister if she willing to fly me out to LA to vist her 3 days before and after the trip just to keep the cost down.

 

be very happy when i get my damn birth cert. and hoping it not the short form again.

 

ordering my student id hoping that will lower my cost.

There are also many Vietnamese Travel Companies in Santa Ana and Westminster California that have cheap rates. That area is the largest Vietnamese community outside Vietnam so there are many Vietnamese services. Also yummy restaurants

hmmm thanks leaving out of KC is 100 dollars more than LAX and KC only 3 hour drive and I have a sister live there. thanks

that one is cheaper, even got my sister to fly me out to LA to visit her so that will save me so money. It hard trying to scrape up money while a student

Robert-that price you have is way too much. a simple search of travelocity.com shows round trip from LAX to SGN (ho chi minh city/saigon) via Nippon airlines to be $734. And travelocity is almost never the cheapest.
