How long for P4

Now that we have sent in our (K-3) packet 3 papers (December 23) we are anxious to get an interview date. I think that knowing that we have an interview date will help us.

 

Does anyone have an idea how much time elapses between sending in the Packet three and receiving an interview date in Packet 4

Currently, some of the people who returned their Packet 3s in September are getting February interviews. The P4's come out about a month before your interview. So we are looking at roughly 4 to 5 months from P3 to P4.

We returned the P-3 on Sept 10. I called DOS Friday Jan 7, and we still have not been scheduled for the interview. I am thinking the first of Feb for a March interview. So I think 4 to 6 months depending on the backlog at GZ.

Check my timeline below! Our Packet 3 was sent back in August, and our interview date is Feb. 22!

My fiancee sent her P3 back to GZ in late August, and she is scheduled for her interview tomorrow (1/14/05)!

Make sure you track the P3 and keep asking if they have received your paperwork. I sent mine in late Aug. (got confirmation that it was delivered from the mail service), waited a month, then started bugging them about it. After several inquiries, finally found out in late Oct. that they still don't have the paperwork. They claimed that they never got it, yeah right, anyway, I had to re-send it. They finally got it and my case was entered into their computer on Nov. 2nd. We lost almost 3 months!

 

AAARRRRR!!!!! Anyway, don't want this to happen to others...
