ndjarrett
She got the colored fella at window #11. One thing to note for those of you practicing interview Qs...practice speaking quickly. If a "-" is a normal pause in conversation...we started practing like "What--is--your--fiancee's--name?" Then when she was better, we did "What'is-your-fiancee's-name?". But the colored fella asked like "Whatsyourfianceesname?" . So, here are the Qs she was asked... 1) Wouldyouhaveyourpassport?2) Whatshisname?3) Howdoyouknoweachother?4) Whichwebsite?5) HowtimesdidhecombacktoChina?6) Whendidhevisit?7) Doyouhavepictures?8) Whatshisjob?9) Companyname?10) Whendidyoumeteachother?11) Whenwillyougetmarried?12) Haveyoubeenmarriedbefore?13) Hashebeenmarriedbefore?14) Howmany?15) Whendidhegetdivorced?16) Sowhenyougetmetbutheisstillnotdivorced? Note here: we were separated for 1 year (per MD law) before we filed for divorce. The hearing was Nov 14 '03 and final Dec 12 '03. Yaya & I met on Sept 23. This was the only off-hte-wall Q that I had figured a VO might ask about.17) Whenwillyougetmarried?18) Doeshehaveanybrothersorsisters?19) Didyoumeethim? She did ask him to speak more slowly...LOL...and he replied he was already speaking slowly for her...but did slow a LITTLE. He also asked some of the questions repeatedly (like Whatshisname?)...go figure. He also did not give her any time after her answer before jumping into the next question. Of all the paperwork she brought (a ton) he was only interested in seeing my passport when she told him I was waiting outside. Anyways, this hassle is over with, we go to pick up the Visa tomorrow and leave China on Dec 17th. Then it is down to MS to visit family for Xmas. Link to comment
