Guest Gene
Thanks John, It helps to see them all together like that. It really shows how things have slowed down. It is Depressing to see, but at the same time helpful for planning. I don't have to rush to buy that new toliet seat Link to comment
jkobman
It's pretty strange to see the variance in days between P3 -> P4. But, it looks like there was a time when the paperwork cycle was really moving fast. Thanks for doing this! J Link to comment

cosmiclobster
John: Great Idea. Thanks for doing that! It does help to see some general trends in the timelines.I have actually put the same data into an Excel spreadsheet so I can sort by columns. As you get new times, it you send them to me, I will add it to the on line site, or if anyone has data that is not yet included, PM me.It is atwww.conejoproperties.com/timeline.xlsand you will need to have Excel on your PC to open it. Alex
Does the P-3 "return date" reflect the the date the application was registered in GZ? Link to comment
John & Hai Yan
Does the P-3 "return date" reflect the the date the application was registered in GZ?Good Question. It reflects whatever people meant when they put "P-3 Returned" in their signature. For me and I assume for most, it was the date P-3 was mailed back to GZ. Link to comment
Guest Gene
Yes, I think it reflects the date mailed back to the Consulate.....And that makes me wonder if you can then call DOS to see if there is recieved date? Link to comment
Alex
About calling D.O.S.for dates.. I called them this morning, and the operator didn'twant my case number...she only asked if P-3had been returned and what date...Mine was received in GZ computer on July 9....as is consistent with past inquiries I was told to expect an Oct or Nov interview Link to comment
Martytb
I just received a copy of the email my congressman got from GZ. We returned the P3 July 16th. They told the congressman "best guesstimate for interview is January.I assume that, as usual they are CYAing and she can expect a November-December interview. The time lines here seem to support that theory. Still this is way beyond the past practices of GZ by about 3 months. I had originally expected my wife to have the visa in hand by the end of September. Link to comment

ndjarrett
Yaya had seen some replies on 001 that said that any P3 after July 15 would be interviewed next year. Link to comment

What went around on CFL were a few people trying to make a good educated guess as to the slow down. I'm not saying this is or was true, just that I did not / could not find anything on the web sites or by calling DOS to support what was being said. Keep in mind that people here were just making the best of what information they had, which is usually very little from any thing or one in any official capacity. Your right about the prior year(s). But as you can see, BCIS and all that is part of them can change the rules almost instantly. You are still left with the words you read on GZ, BCIS or DOS web sites. Link to comment
mtbdude
thanks for the reply, bryan. although i've found cfl to be a great source of information, i certainly don't regard anything i see here as authoritative. on the other hand, with this zero-information waiting game we're in with gz, i find myself clinging hopefully to every bit of speculation that i see here!
