How to lower the risk of infection while flying

I had chills with extremely violent shaking. 15 minutes later 103 temp. Heart rate was 100 and labored breathing (probably from the heart rate). Hospital said to come in and get tested as I had many of the classic symptoms of covid. 65 y/o but no underlying issues. Tested negative!! I'm never sick. Haven't missed a day of work for 13 years. Doctors had no idea what it was.
