dnoblett
A few years ago we bought a bamboo sheet in Toronto for our bed, in the summer the wooden tiles feel cool to sleep on, I recently found a good mail order source for Asian style bedding like rattan and bamboo. The bamboo works well on a firm to extra firm bed. http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad334/dnoblett/Misc%20Junk%20for%20posting/1_55_87_zps0c889ef3.jpg http://www.qbedding.com/ Link to comment

Dennis143
Hard to believe there are Chinese living here who haven't learned to enjoy the comfort of a western bed yet. Link to comment
Catherineli
It does feel cool in summer and it is not too hard because it's soft underneath. It's said the hard surface of a bed is good to some patients who feels pain in the back, like slipped discs for example. Link to comment

The bed here is simply another degree of firmness above the extra-firm Sealy mattress I had purchased in the U.S. before ever meeting my wife. Never slept so well. We had a platform bed (no box springs) a sheet of plywood under the U.S. mattress for a little extra firmness. Link to comment
