Why our case is taking longer than others. Should I be worried?

I call DOC almost every day, and the answer is "NO INTERVIEW DATE".

What else should I do?

after sending P3 expect 3-4 weeks wait.... according to a rep i spoke to at DOS, GUZ schedules twice a month. once in the beginning and once near the end...

It's always a challenge waiting at the point you are in the process. Especially when you see others get interviews before you. Sometimes even when we mail things in right on time, it may only be a matter of the luck of the draw about whether your interview gets scheduled with one group in the same month, or gets bumped to the next. It will happen; hang in there.

Looking at your time line, It's only been little over two weeks sense your sent out your P3.

 

In general, a month is the norm.

our inteview date came one month almost to the day after sending P3 out.

 

Give it 30 days and then call DOS everyday.

I have found Mondays and Frydays are the lucky days to call.

Hey, our case has the P3 sent on almost the same day. Don't worry about all that wait and see crap. Lots of people are getting the interview date in 2 wks, so you and I can call DOS everyday and ask. One day we'll be satisfied . That's why we pay those tax dollars so someone can tell us, No Interview Date.

You're about 3 days ahead of us and we haven't received an interview date. Just remember that there were 2 official holidays in one week during this period. It probably took a little longer to process because of this. A lot of people probably took the whole week off. FWIW, DOS told me it would take about a once the P3 was qualified. They suggested calling every two days. The P3 for us was qualified on Monday. Nothing to worry about yet.
