maisflocon
Hi all, I am applying IR-1/CR-1 for my wife and I have gotten the letter from NVC asking us to pay the $470. I want to make sure I am not making any mistake for my next step. The things I am planning to get next1) Police certificates2) Fill out Form DS-230 Part 13) 2 passport sized photographs4) Original birth certificate for petitioner5) Original birth certificate for beneficiary6) Original marriage certificate7) Copy of passport biographic page for both of us8) Copy of naturalization certificate9) Form I-864 and last three years of tax returns Questions: Am I missing anything important from the above list? Do I need to mail the original birth certificates and marriage certificate to NVC? For the tax returns, can I just send tax transcripts? Does it have to include 2009? Link to comment

BrokenHeart
You do not have to send original documents, you can send certified copies instead. Link to comment
Appaullo
What is a passport biographic page? Please forgive my ignorance. I do not recall seeing any such page in my passport. Or is this what we call the page that has my name, photo, date of passport issue, etc? Again, please forgive my lack of knowledge. Appaullo Link to comment
