Teach English in China

Recommended Posts

  • 3 weeks later...

If a person realy wants to do this there are many places on

the web one can find this type of work. ESL is only one of

many, there are also .gov programs as well as different

religions that offer these programs in China. Many of which

you need no BA or a degree of any kind. You need only to

speak english.

It can be very complicated to do this, thats well known.

This truly has to be something you want to do. Yes it can

be rewarding to you as well as the children. Just make

sure you ask and know all the faqs before doing this.

Bottom line is these kids can and will care about you faster

than you think (if you thought about that). So be sure this

is what you want to do. These children come first not your

thoughts of a worthy goal or a dollar bill. That has to be the

last thing on your mind.

In truth it should not be there at all.

My Wife have a friend who are finding Native English Speakers to Teach English in Hunan Province. There are several vacancies. Any one with BA degree who are interested in a 10 month contract in Hunan Province, China. Please PM me.

I can not PM anyone. I have a friend who has a BA who just told me he would like to teach English in China. Please let me know what he needs to do.

Thanks

There are English teachers all over China. The best thing to do is contact someone that's now working here and get their perspective. There are good companies, and bad ones. You can't expect to get rich doing it, and many teachers appear to be young and single. The vast majority burn out after one year. A few stay. If you're really interested in getting more information, I can put you in touch with the English teachers at my office.
