BillV 8-16-2004
My wife attended her Naturalization Oath Ceremony February 19th, it lasted from 8am to 11am, there was 899 new citizens and 29 no shows. Congresswoman Doris Matsui was the guest speaker. My wife received her certificate and then we went to the US Post Office and submitted her passport application which we sent expedited mail since we hope to travel to China the first week of April. It is a relief to finally reach this point, next we have to let the Social Security Administration that my wife is a US citizen. Thanks to all for your help in the immigration process and good luck to all of you still waiting. Edited February 20, 2009 by BillV 8-16-2004 (see edit history) Link to comment
