I-751 Changes

Recommended Posts

USCIS has now offically changed their policy on which service centers process the I-751. Now, you send the form directly to Vermont or California.

They will reject (not transfer) forms sent to the wrong center starting 9-24, so be careful.

Michael,

Thanks, but like myself on many days...a day late and a dollar short!

I think jim revealed the same in his earlier post:

Does anyone know if we can ship our huge package of proof directly to their address (Vermont - 75. Lower Weldon Street) address or do we have to ship it to their P.O. Box? Knowing this in advance will help us to decide as to which Carrier to use (FedX, UPS, USPS)

We want to ship it all out by Tuesday the 2nd, Overnight.

Thanks

Although I quickly skimmed the directions for the I-751, I did not find the same statement as I did on some of the other forms used in the K-1 process that reads to send it USPS. From one government agency to another.

If you send it USPS without the p.o. box number, I would assume it would wind up in that box anyway. You will find it cheapest to send USPS, just get a tracking number as your package is valuable. It will get where it's going, no worries.
