Just got off the phone with the DOS. They said it would be another short 9 months wait until my interview :P This is gettin' funnier by the day!! :happybday: Oh Lawd hepp me, I'm half way there. :cheering:

The good part is that it is usually half what they state on the phone.

When you say loaded, that means they have it in the system? That is fast my man... I tried calling earlier, but I kep getting the the eventually kicked me out. Good luck my man, you deserve it!!

Yes it means the "electronic file" has been sent out and received.

Brother C I assume it means it's loaded in the system. It took 2 days of callin' to get this answer. Your's is probably loaded as well. It doesn't really mean a whole lot to me except the fact that they haven't lost it at this point. :D I must say that I did get a good laugh a the 9 months answer and I thought to myself, will I have enough time to clean my house? :o

Sorry, but does "loaded" refer to the electronic file or physical? I am currently waiting of my P3. When I call DOS to inquire the status, sometimes someone would say it's still loading... What does this means? I know GZ already have my electronic file, but not yet loaded with my physical one yet, right?

Confused....

From what I've read, 'loaded' always means electronic ONLY.

If a K-1, then you KNOW they've received the paperfile, done the magic behind the screen, and are pushing it forward WHEN your lass received the P3.

There's a flowchart floating around here somewhere, but if it only says 'loaded' - it doesn't mean the paperfile has been received.

When I called DOS last Monday, they told me the file was "loaded". The lady on the phone said that the P3 would be mailed soon. On Saturday, my wife got the P3. The week before, DOS said that GUZ had received the file. It seems it depends on which person you talk to at DOS.

The way I understand it is that wen the case is entered in the DOS computer then it is "loaded" at that time. This happens shortly after NVC. Then it remains loaded in the computer until the actual paper case makes it to GZ. Then it is received and the P3 is sent out for K visas and P4 for CR1 visas.
