garagegods
hi all, we have an interview for k-1 schedueled next week, and may be the first in the "new procedure" (name security check at NVC) to have an interview? so we will let everyone know how this new procedure works. recently seems like there are alot of white slips issued after the interviews and visas not issued the same day. Assuming alot of those are people in the old procedure of security name clearence done in GZ, and maybe some where from that dreaded black hole? We have spoken with GZ several times in the last few days and they tell us our security name clearence is completed and they still issue visas the same day following the interview 3 weeks ago we noticed almost everyone passing there interview recieved there visa following there interview and this week is completely different If anyone has recieved there visa following there interview recently, please post your expierience. Thanx all B) timeline (new procedure security name check done at NVC) k-1 filed november 2002p-1 Dec 2002p-2 march 2003p-3 june 2003p-4 july 2003interview august 2003 (next week)white slip?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? tparrent
We got the white slip on Monday for no apparent reason. I posted the details yesterday. I straightened it out but it took a real effort on my part to do it. DON'T LET THEM DO IT TO YOU! You may never receive the visa if you do. Link to comment
owenkrout
I didn't post in the other thread, but GZ does do all the other visa types besides K CR and IR. Many of those that you saw rejected and that took it so well were probably applications for student, business or tourist visas. There was someone at the exit asking everyone what kind of visa they applied for and if it was granted or not when my wife was interviewed. There was only one K visa denied in that group. The rest were mostly student and a few business. Link to comment
