The USPHS asked for the x-rays from my daughter.

What were the circumstances here? Why? Was she sick?

 

She had been exposed to TB as a child. She was required to take extra tests at her GZ physical and got a clean bill of health there. USPHS followed up once she was in the US and asked for the GZ x-rays.

 

 

This is the only report we've ever gotten of someone being asked for the x-rays - I guess the Public Health Service was alerted by the USCIS.

No.

 

The x-ray was used at the medical by the doctor, looking for TB. After that and they are not needed at consulate, and rarely asked for at POE. After that and later in life they can be used as a baseline for your doctor if looking for some respiratory problem.

 

BIO for AOS consists of finger prints, a picture, and signing a paper for the green-card and/or EAD card.
