The story is here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23479790/ Last June, police in Shanghai shot and killed a man who was holding a young child hostage at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. In June 2005, police in Xi'an shot and killed a hostage-taker. News not so uncommon in this country. Link to comment

She was afraid to wear her diamond engagement ring for fear of being robbed. China will never have the crime problem of the US as long as it continues to take care of business. Link to comment
