Hijacker in China

Recommended Posts

Chinese cops killed a bus hijacker armed with explosives.

The story is here:

Last June, police in Shanghai shot and killed a man who was holding a young child hostage at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. In June 2005, police in Xi'an shot and killed a hostage-taker.

News not so uncommon in this country.

I only added that sub-title because my gal seemed much more concerned about crime this trip than the last trip. She was afraid to wear her diamond engagement ring for fear of being robbed.

China will never have the crime problem of the US as long as it continues to take care of business. :)

China Daily says murders are down...Numbers I've seen show about 1/10 th the percentage of murders in China compared to the US...

Gotta wonder about someone who takes China daily "statistics" at face value.

Just reporting the "news" Bill... :) and no I'm not that simple thank you... B)
