Electronic file - not loaded

Well just called DOS, the " SPECIALIST" told me that GUZ has not received the file electronically, and I need to call NVC requesting they send it again. Called NVC spoke to a exstremly rude lady who said DOS will have to request it, I informed her they just told me that I have to do it, she hung up on me !!!!!! B)

 

What does this mean, 2 months extra dely ? bloody well better not B)

NO Rob, it means wait a day and talk to someone else at DOS!!! I called one day, not in system, next day nothing new, third day, call back in two months, fourth day, good news your interview is on March 13, and the P-4 was just sent out!!

 

Try again tomorrow, if you called early, try later in the day and get someone else!!

Damn Rob, let me talk to them for you from now on !! Having been one of them guvment' guys for so many years, I understand how to 'work' them !!! B) They are always 99% of the time, pleasant to me !! B)

 

Seriously, I think Mark, our CFL 'poster' boy, is right-on in this case.

 

I am sure your file, which was in the same 'crate' as mine, has been logged in e-lec-tron-ic-ally, just as mine was !!

Jing, loaded in GZU talk means they have the paper work on there computer system but have not gotten the "big fat paper" version yet.

They may be lacking postage in your case, you did send stamps with your I-129F didn't you??

She said it depends if they pull files to open by loaded dates or just by the case they are in, local practices, vary.

I hope the later, or we've just lost 53 days

Rob, I wonder if you could send an e-mail to GUZ, now that you have a GUZ case #, and explain the info supplied by DOS/NVC and see if they have, in fact, received your e-file yet ??

 

Very simple for them to pull up in their computer and verify with your name and GUZ # !!

Worth a try. We got our GUZ # in Nov, and were told both by email from (NVC)and phone (DOS)our petition(electronic & paper) was sent on Dec 20th. I dont know if GUZ ever reads or responds to emails, but maybe they would agree to log it in as loaded in Dec not Feb, maybe, maybe, maybe, or at least make a note that it was a very unusual NVC/DOS delay and should go by the original electronic sent date ( was that a pig flying I just saw ) B) .

Maybe it doesn't matter a hoot, its impossible to tell as they have no answer to give me, except , "local policies & procedures"

 

Not quite sure how to break this to Jin, wont be good, thats for sure. Sorry for the - vibes, just a tad dismayed tonight. We were really hoping on May/ June.

Here's their FAX #, a check at the website says that e-mails are for those who already have had an interview and have follow up questions.

Just call them, go to the GUZ website, spend a couple bucks for the pin # and call, usually a girl named xioa will answer. Tell her or whoever your GUZ # and ask for a status update.

Rob, when I had a question about my case and needed answers from GZU, I just e-mailed them for free!!

 

It did take a little waiting and then two e-mails, but they did answer me!!
