OK, WHO'S STILL WAITING FOR INTERVIEW?

Recommended Posts

We ARE lucky. A day does not go by when I remind myself of that. Fang once called herself a "lucky dog" for having met me. (very cute). In fact, it is ME that is the lucky dog!

Hang in there my friend.

You said it, Michael.

Lulu told me she wants to change her name to Lucky :). I am sorry that we may not be able to make it to your party at GUZ. Hopefully we can meet one day in the States. :D

Best wishes,

Gino & Lulu

Hope to see you all joining us at a California gathering someday soon. :)

I am so looking forward to that !!

Best wishes,

Hi everybody!

Just to update everyone, Im still calling DOS everyday, and all they

just keep saying is "not scheduled for interview yet".

On a more positive note, Li's father came home from the Hospital last Friday, and is recovering slowly at home. The good news is no cancer,

just a bleeding ulcer. (not that that is a good thing, just not as bad

as we imagined it could be). As a gesture to her and her family I sent

1000 RMB via Western Union last Saturday. I told Li to use it to help

pay some of her fathers medical bills, or wherever she needs it.

She was so grateful, and her family said Yes, he will be a good husband.

WOW, $135.00 U.S. dollars sure goes a long way in China!

Thanks for the advice, prayers, and thoughts from everyone here at CFL.

Please let me know if anyone else has had any luck with DOS.

Sincerly, Ron & Li

You did good !!

Most, will never ask for a dime, even when it is so welcomed and really needed to reduce the stress of unforeseen events in their daily life.

Again¡¡good for you Ron !!!! ;)

Hi Ron.

Glad to hear things are going to the right direction with Li's father. My dad was diagnosed with last stage of liver cancer on June last year, right after my ex left me. He lost 50 lbs in one month and the Doctor told us he only has 30 days to live and there's really no sense to do anything at this stage but get ready, it just sounds like a death sentence to him. He told us he is very graceful to have a family like us and he starts to cherish every single day. Nothing happened after 30 days, 60 days, 6 months, he just keeps on loosing weight so the Doctor gave him something to increase his appetite and told us to get ready AGAIN!! He starts to gain his all his weight back plus much more. So we took him to the Doctor again and he sent him to the cancer group and they can not find any cancer cell. He is cured just like that. Those Doctors kept on asking us what did we gave him to eat and we told him "CHINESE FOOD" !! ;).

God will work his magic as long as we keep the good spirits and cherish everyday.

Best wishes to you, Li and her father,

BTW, there's no news for our case either. Keep on calling. I don't care if it sounds like "Are we there yet?" and serve no real purpose. I just want to "do something" (we have finished our kitchen sink already) and this is the only thing we can do at this time.

Best wishes,

Gino & Lulu
