You are getting sleepy.

You are getting sleepy.

Your eyelids are heavy.

You are sleepy.

You are sleepy.

Your eyelids want to close.

You are relaxed.

You are relaxed.

Soften.

You are sleepy.

You are sleepy.

Sleep!

Yeah we really like the little burg... :D It's not too big, not too small. It's rich because of the largest ciagrette factory in Asia... :D with really good shopping, restaurants, etc but you can live there cheaply. The weather is great year-round and there is a lot to see in the surrounding countryside...But I like everything I've seen of Yunnan also but we only took one bus trip to Li Jiang and spent sveral days there... :cheering:

I still don't get it.

I have been married to a Chinese woman for 7 years now and she is asking me with the moon festival is. :smartass:

Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the Chinese calendar (usually around mid- or late-September in the Gregorian calendar), a date that parallels the Autumn Equinox of the solar calendar. This is the ideal time, when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, to celebrate the abundance of the summer's harvest. The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties.

I don't like mooncakes at all, but I'll certainly miss them if I don't have any for the Moon Festival. It's a tradition to have mooncakes on Moon Festival.

Moon cakes are something that "if you buy it, you're not the one who's going to eat it, if you're eat it, you didn't buy it."

Ya, that is the one. I ate one three days ago and it almost sent me into shock. It was basically made of sugar and grease

Bought a nice tin of them at "Lee's Oriental Food" a local grocer near where I work.

Most cities have an oriental grocery or two and they should have them.

This online merchant says they can get them to you if you order by the 21st.

I don't know what kind of mooncakes you people have tried, but the ones I have eaten tasted pretty darn good. This kind came in a tin box and my wife said they were the very best kind you can buy.

I showed Ping the moon pies sometime in her first year here, at about the time of the moon festival and she was not too impressed, and could not understand what I thought was so funny when I was showing them to her and saying, "see, here in America we don't have moon cake, but we do have moon pie!!!"
