Now I'm applying for the AOS, unfortunately, my husband lost the I-797, Approval notice for I-129Fpetition(NOA2), so what I should do? I remember the Number inside,does that work if I tell INS? the next question is we got the ADDIDAVIT OF Support before, but now seemed changed to be a new 864 form, so do we must use the new one? AZwolfman Posted June 5, 2003 Report Share Posted June 5, 2003 I don't know the answer to the first question, but the I-134 affidavit of support is used to show support for your fiancee to get the visa to come to this country. After she arrives and you are married, you send the I-864 affidavit with the (I-485) AOS papers. So yes, you do file 2 different support affidavits; one before her arrival, and one after marriage here with the AOS. Link to comment
