Zhen's Tiger
Hi,Not sure if this belongs here or in the Communications Forum, but I thought it was applicable here as I never had to do this in the process until Zhen got here...Anyway, Adobe has a free service for converting PDFs to txt or HTML files, which can then be translated into any language. Maybe I am wrong, but have not figured out any other way to convert an English PDF to Chinese (without paying for software, that is )It is here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/acce...nlinetools.htmlI used this site to change the New Jersey Driver Manual to txt and then translated it to Chinese for Zhen. It's great that NJ let's you take the test in Chinese, but they don't offer the Manual in anything other than English PDFs online... so studying for the test is a little difficult. P.S. if anyone needs the NJ Driver Manual in Chinese, just PM me & I will send it to you, already went through the effort, maybe I can save you some time! Steve Link to comment
Randy W
. . . Or cut and paste to Word or Notepad. California and Wagington both have driver's handbooks in Chinese. The Washington book is page-by-page identical with the English manual, so you can follow what she's reading. Link to comment
Zhen's Tiger
. . . Or cut and paste to Word or Notepad. It won't let you grab the text, it's a locked PDF... that's why I mentioned it. Link to comment
