danswayne Posted April 28, 2003 Report Share Posted April 28, 2003 Chinese friends are saying that they have heard from their friends who have recently gone to America that they were required to go to hospital, sometimes for 10 days. Please tell me this is a nasty rumor. I would hate to spend the first 10 days of our American lives in a hospital just because my wife is Chinese and we are flying from China. Link to comment

owenkrout Posted April 28, 2003 Report Share Posted April 28, 2003 Only a rumor. The consulate here in Shenyang issued a notice discounting the rumors of people being quarentined upon arrival from China. There is a request for a voluntary stay at home for 10 days following arrival. Link to comment
