esun41
Arrived in Dallas off the I-35 and Inwood Drive about 10 this morning. Translator in tow and a briefcase full of stuff I didn't even need. (Briefcase not needed, translator was a blessing) The packet the IO was fumbling with was big city phone book thick. That represented almost 3 years of evidence, documents and momento's of our progress. Questions based mostly on her past marriage. She asked her what city she lived in and what ages her children are. Nothing really about us except our wedding date. Big "turn the page" for us! Green card 4 to 6 weeks from today the IO said. Link to comment

Congratulations 'esun41' I like that analogy....."big city phone book." I felt the same way when I saw our file infront of the IO. So glad you two didn't have to explore the vastness of the black hole of security/namecheck hell!! Here's wishing the two of you happy hearts in your lives together!! PapaBear B) Link to comment

tywy_99
The time between the approved appointment and the welcome letter/greencard in the mail makes me think of the Carly Simon tune, 'Anticipation!' Congratulations!!!.... Link to comment
