Zack Posted December 18, 2006 Report Share Posted December 18, 2006 Did anyone get there I-130 approved (P2) with P1 in August'06 ?I submitted the application in August'06 with a P1 date of 8/18/2006. I was expecting an average processing time of 4 months, what do you all think?I initially filed with TSC, but it got forwarded to CSC. When can I expect a P2? Thanks,-Z Link to comment

Do you know why the I-130 takes longer than the I-129F at the USCIS?Is there additional requirements on a I-130? security/name checks etc? Thanks,-Z Link to comment

It's at all the other centers that the process takes longer (for both) and an obvious gap develops... So, not sure if it's volume, efficient, etc.. or all of the above... I suspect the latter.
