Guest CJbee
Greetings, A Sacramento Bee reporter here -- wondering if any one on the listserv is waiting for a fiance in a SARS-impacted area (Guangdong Province, Hong Kong). I've spoken with a gentleman in Sacramento who is in that predicament, and was hoping to speak with others experiencing the same. Please feel free to contact me - Christina Jewett, cjewett@sacbee.com. Thank you, Christina Link to comment
owenkrout
Keep it up front. I know that there are several members that are either from or have a fiancee from Guangdong. Drop this reporter a line if you fit the criteria. Any exposure as to why having to wait so long for a visa is a burden is good for your cases. Nothing has shown up here in the NorthEast of China that I am aware of so far. Link to comment

Guest Long_strider
I sent her a note as my fiance lives in Guangzhou and is worried about the impact that SARs may have on visa process and potential further delays. Mi Link to comment
