We are dcf and will travel to shanghai to get the medical check, do we need to pre-pay the visa at a citic bank before the hospital will give us the medical check?

Here is what has been reported from Shanghai hospitals by multiple members... but is not consistent with those in GUZ or BJ:

 

In Shanghai, the doctor doesn't require that the payment receipted being enclosed in the document envelop. You may pay in GZ later, before the interview.

 

At a minimum, you might only need to show the payment receipt at pickup of the medical envelope (this is consistent with the other locations), not before the medical.
