If particular information was raised in the process "another agency" (the corporation?) would also get involved. He said that he could only remember one instance where the CIA openly was involved in ordering a group of visas denied. Those were not K visas, by the way. Link to comment

Does anybody know how to contact relevant FBI officers? How they conduct this namechecks? My understanding is that FBI will run your name and relevant identity information through their criminal record database, to see if there is any information matches that in the database. My sweetie could have the last name Laden... She'll be put on hold until someone figures out that, no, she's just a sweet lady from Kazhakstan... No Osama relation..You get the picture.... Just like NSA computers are searching for nasty words usually associated with nutty/nasty/ not-so-USA people in commint intercepts.... Link to comment
