yuliki
I am checking the sample form of GIV-24 on the internet. It is filled out both in Chinese and English. My question is: could i do it only in English? Thanks Lin Link to comment
bearbear
I think you could. I did my SO's in English only. Link to comment
david_dawei
The only place we put any chinese on this form was: Q1. Chinese name and telegraphic code : We put the chinese character and then telegraphic code in parens. Q.6 Chinese name column, asked for her family members.. we put the chinese characters Signature: Usually my wife would sign in both chinese and pinyin. I don't doubt that even leaving off the chinese parts in this form would pose little issue.. don't stress it, fill it out as completely and truthfully at a minimum... Link to comment
Redsunset52
What I did was fill in my answers in English , emailed to SO in China she than filled out her part in Chinese. But I followed the example on the internet . I do not think it is a big deal , if and when they also want it in Chinese be prepared at least to provide the info. Link to comment
yuliki
Good points guys. I think I will fill it out in English and put Chinese in where the form requires Chinese names, and sign it off by both my Chinese name and Pin Yin. Thanks you very much!!!!! Good luck for me!!!!:) Lin Link to comment
david_dawei
Did you get an interview date when they said P4 was sent ??? Maybe a minor detail... Edited June 6, 2006 by DavidZixuan (see edit history) Link to comment
obxtrainman
It is a form meant to be filled out by Chinese SO. I looked at it. I think there is a space for everything to be filled out in both languages, pinyin, and telegraphic code. Don't take short cuts on these last stages forms. From what I saw it is basically the same questions as on the Form G-325A However, it has the spaces for the different forms of communication. The part I don't understand. If the Vo is viewing the case for the first time, isn't this information a bit too late to do any good? Signed, Just a thought Link to comment
SallyHon
We used both English and Chinese. Link to comment
jim_julian
Why not fill it out in both???? You're about to fulfill a dream ... as someone above said ... don't take short cuts! Link to comment
