skibum Posted March 11, 2003 Report Share Posted March 11, 2003 It was a long ten hour drive from Vegas and Yirong slept much of the way. But she perked up when we got to the house and is now wide awake and putting away all the clothes that I brought here in June. She forgot she had most of them. As if we had not waited long enough, the luggage took forever to get off of the plane so I waited a good hour for her to come out. But she had no problems with INS or customs. We spent the night near Marina Del Rey and walked to the beach and around Venice. We were in Vegas on Sunday and had the ceremony at the court house and it was pretty nice. I think I would recommend it over one of the chapels unless you had a bunch of people there. We stayed at Luxor and it is nice. We dressed up for dinner and she made quite an impression on many men. I will have to get used to that. I had not seen her for 9 months but it seems like yesterday and we just took up were we left off. The ski lessons are soon. Link to comment
