If I understand correctly you are working on a visa in Russia and lived in China for studies.

Now it all makes sense - applying for a visa in Russia, having studied in China for a period of time. The one year rule would seem to apply. Thanks for clarifying this Lee.

Hi!

I am new here. And I need your help!

The situation is....I am Russian fiancee, but 2 years I lived in China. And now, for my interview I need a paper from the Police of China. But it turns out to be impossible.

I've tried many times but the answer is the same...Chinese Police does not give such kind of papers, and it is against Chinese Law.

And now I have no idea what to do with this, and how to find the way out, where can I get this paper???

I would be very thankful to you if you give me any ideas about this.

Hi Keesa,

I'm a foreign fiancee in China too. I got 3 years residency in China. I have been scheduled for interview and I have a police report from the Provincial Notary Office.

What I did was to inform all my past and employers (have been living in the same city/province) that I needed a Police Certificate. They all gave me letters of no criminal record which I took to the PSB. The PSB asked me to come back after a week. Then the PSB gave me a letter in Chinese which I took to the Provincial Notary Office. And this letter was used to prepare my police certificate which was translated to English and notarized.

Hope this helps

Hi, to everybody!!!

The problem is that when i applyed, i Didn't mention that I i had a break after first 10 months, so in my application its like 1 year and a half.

And the seecond problem...I took the paper from my employee(its college) but in the Local Police Office they refused to give me the paper!!!! WE went there many times, and they refused!!!!

Its sounds so simple....I dont know where I can go, any other place in Harbin, I do not know a lot of people here, especially from the Police...It sounds easy, I dodnt know whats wrong with me....why they refuse me, just coz I have bad luck or what?????? :yahoo:

Thank you everybody!!!!

Thanks for advice and help!

Today I got Certificate of no criminal records( 2 certificates, just in case)

Just the way you told me. First I got letters from my work places, then the pink paper(my registration in China), and went to the Notorial Office. Yesterday I gave my docs to the Notary, payed money, and today I got my certificates. I am so happy! I feel much better now, with this papers!
