Guest niki20
Green card arrived this week. We just wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to CFL and its members for the invaluable knowledge, encouragement and support. We did also use a visa counselor (Apex Visa/Hervisa) and were very pleased with the service. But, nothing could compare the bond we felt with the members of CFL. Granted, our case was pretty simple – LP never married, she had no children, Vermont Service Center was pretty quick, etc., but only CFL could help so much during that dreadful wait for the interview at GUZ. And rehearsing the forum’s list of interview questions paid off in spades. We haven’t posted much, but have been avid readers. We were also so happy to see the members rally and deal with issues like keeping CFL up when it was in danger of being closed; like collecting money for unfortunate victims; like helping discouraged couples deal with setbacks; like putting GUZ under a microscope and actually getting it to change a little, etc. Now we have 21 months of peace before we have to file for permanent residence, but we will continue to follow several of the forums like AOS, Language and Culture, and, of course, Twisted Candle. CFL has been like a whole family of brothers and sisters holding our hands all the way. It is the best online forum we have ever experienced and we are so lucky to have found it. Short Time Line: JAN 2004 – Filed I-129F (K1)JAN 2005 – Interview at GUZ FEB 2005 – SO arrived at JFK (got work stamp)MAR 2005 – Got SSNMAY 2005 – MarriedJUN – DEC 2005 , Got EAD, Advanced Parole, Biometrics, Driver’s LicenseFEB – 2006 AOS interview in Hartford (Really nice Officer)MAR – 2006 Green Card Arrives Again a BIG THANK YOU Nick and Lili Link to comment

Nick and Lili
OHOH. I killed Nick. Sorry about that. I've been deleting members who have not posted more than 10 times and registered a long time ago. Hope you reregister and come back and let us know how things are going between now and the removal of conditions.195971[/snapback]Hmmm ... I just re-registered as Nick and Lili Link to comment
