naturalization interview

Recommended Posts

I once had a manager from the Philippines.

He said he had to step on the Filipino flag

and swear an oath of allegiance to the US.

I doubt it. I did my naturalization about 10 years ago and I didn't have to step any flag.

That's what he said.

Also he said he was an officer in the PH army.

He could be very well full of crap.

So full of it his eyes turned brown???

Don't think even YEARS and YEARS ago that the US Imm. Service would expect this- desecreting one of our long term allies flag???

Likewise I knew HUNDREDS of natrualized Phillipinos, from various eras working in the Shipyards- both my son and daughter are married to Filipinos w/ very large extended families- never heard of this before.

Ex and daughter were Natrualized in late seventies. WAS very easy back then for them. BUT just like VO's in GUZ your interviewer's personality can vary!

He was a fun guy at office parties and liked to chase the girls.
